Dr. Kelly Jo Brooks, Principal of Hickory Flat Elementary, enjoys the excitement of presenting a bicycle to Sarah Cottrill, third grade student from Ms. Amanda Collins class, for having Perfect Attendance this school year. The bicycle was donated by Partner In Education, Mr. Phillip Wallace, of Wallace Financial.
     

Nutritition awards

Cherokee County School Nutrition Association awards a scholarship annually to a child or grandchild of an employee of Cherokee County School Nutrition Program. This year's
recipient is Erin Byram, daughter of Cindy Byram, food service manager
of Macedonia Elementary School. Presenting the award to Erin is Dr. Petruzielo, Superintendent of Cherokee County School District and Tonya Slease-Cannon, President of the Cherokee County School Nutrition Association and food service manager
at Mountain Road Elementary School. Erin plans to attend Reinhardt
College in the fall.

 

Webkinz Winner

First Winner was Caroline Manning 9 years old
from Bridgemill.
